Revising site
This site needs a revision.
I love the layout and the colours, but sometimes I get the impression is is a bit crowded. As I see it I have two short term options:
1. Find a new system that may be simpler and cleaner and also updated for security issues, discarding PHP-Fusion, which has been the trusted CMS for 20 years behind this site
2. Correct the site as it is and try to build a code base to keep it updated for yet a few years more.
The long term option is of course start building something else and transition slowly towards that, and in this I am leaning towards Mediawiki or Drupal, both still very much maintained and relevant systems in the foreseeable future.
I also ponder this might be my last iteration of the site. I do not get younger and I am far in to my 50's. Or almost 60, whichever sounds best... Will someone step up and take over, or will the site die as I grow unable to maintain it? Hard questions.
In any case, for the time being, this is still here and being worked upon.

So recently we passed 6.000.000 visits to this site. That's 6 MILLION unique visits. All these good people have so far downloaded the hosted files over 300.000 times. Considering it is over a time span that is fast approaching 20 years, it may not be huge numbers, but keeping this running since January 2005 has not always been without glitches. We were so many more then, and a lot are still active in other channels. Please help me out a bit, if you like what you see and would help me keep this up and running for another 20 years, please consider hitting that button there below and send what you are able to my way. This is the only AD you will ever see on this site.
