Played the HW2to1 mod, not that one modiefed by Iostream and available here (I mean he wanted to do some scaling), but the original one, downloaded by myself last year. Had two problems: cruiser build time is wrong (too fast) and the game (an MP, Fields of Plaz) crashed after 30 minutes without any hint or window open; it just disappeared (don't belive that's a hardware problem, hence, no specifications here).

Any opinions on that?

the only thing i changed was the way it was packaged. i did not edit anything else.

i am removing the goblins included with the ships in order to make the game run faster, but that's a separate project i've only done one side for at the moment.

the cruiser build time is wrng, and i don't agree with the places that the ships are in. a lot of glow effects are missing as well. the motherships fighter/frig bay looks dead.

apart from that, it works fine.

i could ajust the issues people have with the mod, and upload it properly?

thanks IO, your answer was expected. You're right, it's running rather slow. What do you mean by goblins removed and ships at wrong places? Cruiser build time won't be a problem but probably you don't have any idea about the sudden crash ...

Btw.: usually these times I'm playing some New Graphics Mod For Homeworld 1 v0.9MP - it's really great! Looking forward to the things to come and understand the college right of way - good luck! (There are always troubles with real life - we have to face them.)

Ok, here we are again: Recent discussions at RB (see http://forums.relicnews.com/showthrea...hp?t=65833) let me write that. At the day of this writing - today - we're hosting a "Homeworld 1 to 2 Conversion Mod by 7777. BETA". Is this the version of RaidCarrierMan (see that RB thread 29.6.). Obviously it is. Home, could you please do the following: rename HW_to_HW2.exe to HW2_to_HW.exe, then the new text to that link should be "Homeworld 2 to 1 Conversion Mod by 7777 - RaidCarrierMan's edit.bata.rar".

Then, as mentioned, I'd also like to post 7777's original with some readme around so that people may try it if they want and support the RaidCarrierMan or others who kindly offered help. Is there agreement upon this double-posting?

Finally, we should post what we did in our RB thread.

I would do the rearrangements here, but I believe, I'm not able to do so. Can someone offer some guidance?

So recently we passed 6.000.000 visits to this site. That's 6 MILLION unique visits. All these good people have so far downloaded the hosted files over 300.000 times. Considering it is over a time span that is fast approaching 20 years, it may not be huge numbers, but keeping this running since January 2005 has not always been without glitches. We were so many more then, and a lot are still active in other channels. Please help me out a bit, if you like what you see and would help me keep this up and running for another 20 years, please consider hitting that button there below and send what you are able to my way. This is the only AD you will ever see on this site.
