hw is a good game ...

how long have you been playing?
what got you started?

my personal experience happened with a copy of Ground Control my stepdad bought. It came with a demo of hw. Tutorial blew me away, and the first 2 levels got me hooked. I spent the next five years looking for, buying, and beating the sp. (damn mission 14 ...)
1999 was a blessed year ^_^

I started playing homeworld some time after it got out in '99.
I was amazed and thrilled at once and have replayed the campign 3-4 times up till now.

The magnificent combination of graphics and a "epic" story made my day-week-month!:D

1999, my frend showed it to me, I was hooked by it's beauty and coolness, then I fell in love with the story, in 2003, it dumped me :p
