Homeworld Effects Manual: setColorADist()
setColorADist(float red, float green, float blue, float alpha)
Useful values: [0.0 - 1.0] for all four variables.
Default value: (0,0,0,0)
Adds uncertainty to ColorA attribute.
red, green, blue and alpha are clamped to the range [0.0 - 1.0]. This command expands the possible ColorA's of on abject from one value (specified by setColorA([r * 16777216 + g * 65536 + b * 256 + a]) to a range of values: [(r +- (red * 256)) * 16777216 + (g +- (green * 256)) * 65536 + (b +- (blue * 256)) * 256 + (a +- (alpha * 256))]. The math is really much simpler than it looks. If red is 0.1, then the final ColorA can have a red component that's up to 10% different than what setColorA() says it should be.
