Homeworld Effects Manual: setColor()
setColor(RGB color)
Default value [255 + 255 * 256 + 255 * 65536]
setColor() modifies the color of an object in a multiplicative manner, as opposed to setAddColor(), which is additive. For example, setcolor([255 + 128 * 256 + 0 * 65536]) allows all the red, half the green, and none of the blue. This would make a blue object look black, a yellow object look orange, and a cyan object look dark green. More precisely, setColor([r + g * 256 + b * 65536]) will modify a color (red, green, blue) to (red * r / 255, green * g / 255, blue * b /255)
setColor([255 + 255 * 256 + 255 * 65536])
setColor([150 + 192 * 256 + 120 * 65536])
setColor([96 + 96 * 256 + 96 * 65536])
