Something about the latest screens from Sacrifice of Angels bothered me. I realized that next to the amazing ships and effects, the few remaining default effects were quite jarring. The defense field deflection was one of those effects. This is my effort to plug one of a very few holes in a very nice effects package.
Instructions
Unzip deflect.zip into your Homeworld directory. The new effect should overwrite the old without further fiddling. If it doesn't, you've already modified your defense field effect and should know how to fix it.
