Son'A Battleship

The Son'A joined the Dominion very soon after they realized their relationship with the Federation had gone sour. There main contribution to the war effort has been in supplying the Jem'Hadar with Ketracel White but secondary to that was the fact they could deploy their own powerful Battleships to defend their supply lines and installations, something Weyoun complained often, the Cardassians could never do.

Combining illegal weaponry with advanced engine and shield design the Son'A Battleship is a contradiction to the Jem'Hadar Attack Fighters and Warships in that it does not rely on numbers but rather technology. More than a match for any vessel assigned to convoy assaults the Son'A very rarely require Jem'Hadar assistance. A weakness Captains of Klingon B'Rels have noticed is their lack of maneuverability and weak aft fire cover, something commanders of smaller raiders should note.
