Vor'Cha Class

The Vor'Cha class was designed to replace the aging K'T'Inga class starships, and to serve as a command ship for Bird of Prey squadrons. Launched in 2351, this ship is becoming a common sight in Klingon fleets with an estimated 500 vessels in service.

Featuring heavy armor and powerful weapons systems, the Vor'Cha is ideally suited for assault missions, however it often is used in conjunction with Birds of Prey to provide covering fire.

During the invasion of Cardassian holdings, the Vor'Cha served well however it was surprisingly vunerable to attacks from the rear and lower quarters. Klingon engineers are working on an upgrade for this, and additional weapons upgrades are planned.
