Klingon SDS

As observers of the Klingon Empire will realize, their engineers are the experts at rescaling exisitng designs to suit more needs. The B'Rel and K'Vort being the well known example. The SDS father design was a massive starbase contrsucted to defend key installations within the Empire such as the Hall of Warriors. However during the war it was realized something smaller was needed to provide a median of defence at newly acquired, or often recaptured locations. Klingon Engineers set about scaling down the design, losing its hangar capacity and weaponry. The SDS, or Stationary Defence Satellite was the result and it can be deployed with 6.5 hours to defend planets, starbases and shipyards from the Dominion. It posses potent weaponry, turreted energy cannons perfect against smaller vessels such as the Dominator, whilst any installations slower but more powerful weapons concentrate on larger enemy assets.
