Negh'Var Class

After witnessing the devastating attacks upon the Federation by the Borg, the Klingon Empire began construction of a battleship in order to protect the empire from aggressors. Not surprisingly, as one of the largest Klingon vessels, the Negh'Var lacks in maneuverability. However with vastly increased armour and heavy weapons, the Negh'Var can certainly come out the victor in a firefight.

Launched in 2371, the Negh'Vah became Chancellor Gowron's flagship, serving a triumphant role in the brief war with Cardassia, destroying many vessels and assisting in the invasion of several colonies.
