K'T'Inga Class

The K'T'Inga is the backbone of the Klingon fleet serving as patrol vessol along major shipping lines. Colonial defense fleets also consist of many K'T'Inga's.

Based upon the D-5 hull design, which is almost 200 years old, you would be forgiven for thinking the K'T'Inga is an easy target. Having seen numerous refits, and seldom unescorted, these battlegroups are capiable of holding their own to small attacks.

During combat, these ships are mainly seen supporting larger vessels such as the Vor'Cha or guarding cargo ships.
