B'rel Class

The B'rel is by far the most common vessel in the Klingon fleet. Having been in service for over a century it has seen numerous upgrades and is still feared among other races. Unlike most starships, the B'rel is capiable of atomospheric flight, which makes it very useful for precision attacks on planetary targets.

Featuring a cloaking device, twin disruptors and a photon launcher; the B'rel is an excellent fast attack vessel capiable of destroying its adversary before they even know of its presence. In a squadron these ships are even more deadly, able to decimate an enemy fleet on a single attack run.

They do however pay a price for their speed and weapons - their armour is surprisingly light, however their cloaking device does negate the need for heavy armour.
