Nebula Class

Often refered to as the Galaxies younger sibling, the Nebula features the Galaxy primary hull and nacelles, supporting a upper module. This module can be replaced at a starbase to suit the ships mission role.

Nebula's have mainly seen exploration missions, requiring a sensor module to be fitted. However since the start of the Dominion war, high losses have caused Starfleet to develop an advanced weapons module for this class.

WIth the weapons module, Nebula's have been used extensively as escorts and defensive vessels. Several have also been fitted with a shuttlebay module, allowing them to support several squadrons of Tactical fighters.
