Nikito Class

The Nikto class destroyer was developed as a middle step between the Jem'Hadar Cruiser and the Dominator Attack Fighter. Its was fitted with poleron beam and pulse weapons that had long range but a slow fire rate. This configuration has allowed the Nikito to fill its niche nicely, but unfortunately, it is not suitable for much else.

Niktos are more often seen mixed in with smaller Dominion strike craft squadrons. They have proven them self very well in providing longer-range fire support for both Hideki and Dominator squadrons, and are often seen spearheading groups of smaller ships, providing battlefield tactics information and directions to their squadrons.
