Enslaver Class

With the deployment of Sovereign Class, Battleships and NeghVar Class Warships and improvements of the Romulan D'Deridex; Vorta tacticians made it clear to the Founders that the Dominion needed to once more take the lead in Battleship Design. Massive in both size and firepower the Enslaver prototype provided such a vessel. Minor setbacks were found when these vessels were actually deployed in the field, but these problems were quickly corrected and the Enslaver took its place as the most powerful Battleship deployed during the Dominion War.

Fortunately for the Allies construction of a vessel of this size was consuming in both time and resources, which lead to them rarely being encountered during hostile engagement. Capable of destroying a small fleet by themselves Enslaver's were used to defend installations alone, allowing the more flexible Dominator's and Devastator's to be redeployed.
