A Modification of Homeworld:Cataclysim by The Stress Puppy

Beyond The Final Frontier takes place just a few years after the events of Innocence and Wrath. The war between the Federation and the Klingon/Romulan alliance has ended with the defeat of the Klingon Battleship "Ultimate Doom" over Earth.

However the galaxy was far from being at peace. Renegade fleets of the defeated "fusions" now called the "Userpers" by the Imperial Klingons still encroach upon Federation space.

The Federation rebuilds its raveged fleet, and is soon back to its primary goal of exploring the galaxy. A second Space Command, and Control ship is completed. Christaned the U.S.S.Valley Forge NCC-8811. She has been upgraded during construction to facilitate the new "Phase 2 technologys" developed during the war.

Elsewhere just outside the galaxy within the Great Magellanic Cloud a new threat looms. not just to the federation but the to entire galaxy. A race from galaxy known as Andromida. Thier first scout crashed in our galaxy after a 200 year journey, and were encountered by the USS Enterprise. They tried to steal the starship, and make a 200 year return voyage to Andromida. They failed. Little did they know that thier government had already commited to an all out invasion 200 years before they were born. Now the invasion fleet is here. Based inside the Magellanic cloud.

They do not negotiate..They Subjugate.
They do not colonize...They Conquer
They are the Kelvin

The organians fear them. an entire galaxy fell before them. Starfleet must make a bold move to try and stop this menace from overwhelming our galaxy. the only thing that is stopping the Kelvin from invading in force is the great energy barrier surrounding the edge of our galaxy. The USS Valley Forge will recive new orders. Breach the barrier, Travel outside the galaxy Beyond the Final Frontier to Destroy the kelvins by any means necessary.
