To keep the highlights and shadows the same direction as the rest of my Akira I'm going to have to have the light coming up and to the left.

Now copy it and make black transparent to give you a .bmp consisting of
only white red and blue. Save this as Saucer 1.
Now you must decide which panels are going to be different (in this case
dark)
Using Saucer 1 fill in all the panels you want different. In my case I'm having green as dark panels and purple as very dark panels. This gives,
Now copy it and make red and then blue transparent to give you a .bmp
consisting of only white, purple and green.
Save this as Saucer 2 (DO NOT SAVE OVER SAUCER 1).
