You Like Me, You Really… You Do Like Me, Don't You?

Havas rewarded for making ungodly amounts of money.

October 29, 1999

Blizzard Entertainment and Knowledge Adventure have tied for "Multimedia Company of the Year" at the sixth annual Software Industry Awards. Havas Interactive, who owns both companies (as well as entertainment powerhouse Sierra Studios), was quoted as saying from a very unreliable source "you better believe we're the best, blaaaghhhh" before drunkenly slumping into a nearby game companies' blouse at the awards ceremony.

Despite the post-holiday recall of Football Pro '99 earlier this year, Havas Interactive and it's subsidiaries has had a history of providing quality entertainment to the kiddies, from the recently released Homeworld to the mega-hit Starcraft. Knowledge Adventure has become infamous in the gaming industry for pushing hardcore entertainment into the sweaty hands of its thrill-hungry fans, from the naughty Super Duper Arcade 1 & 2 to the cheeky Blues Treasure Hunt. We'd provide you with all the lowdown on Havas' other titles, but then when would we have time to finish playing Anoop's Fruitlicious Anime Joy Joy Game? He even knows all of their blood types.
