23 December 2005: The Time has come. This year PaperStarships not just wishes You, it gives You a Heavy Cruiser. The Vanaar-Jet class is available for download in the Homeworld section. Also available is a quite detailed Slave 1 model from Star Wars. i guess now You have ships to build during the holydays. Merry Christmas and happy new year to You all!

28 November 2005: 2 New Star Wars models: Actis class Jedi fighter from Episode III and the classic X-Wing. Finally i also got some images of an assembled Tie Bomber.

Now comes the more important part: i am sorry for the infrequent updates, it's mainly because of 2 reasons: First, i do not get a large influx of new models, which may be partially caused by my slow updates. Second, and more the more heavy reason is, that i have future plans of totally "refitting" PaperStarships, and every model i upload now will give me extra work when im finally there to improve the site. When i started this site more than 2 years ago, i knew pretty much nothing about HTML, just went on with the first website editor i found. i did never expect that PaperStarships will be such a long standing, and (i don't know if i should dare to say) popular site. It would really deserve a more professional technical background, to make it easier and less time consuming for me to update and manage all these models. Don't get me wrong, im still a HTML newbie, so i'd need to do substantial research to be able to do this. i would also like to add some tiny features like download counter, model rating etc... but that would require a lot of work... i really hope i'll be able to give it a go somewhere in the near future...
