Mr. Man sent in a pair of short stories yesterday... Words, a rather, erm, interesting tale in which a pair of words (of all things :)) are our heroes; and Missed The Battle, a story about the exploits of a Hiigaran military chef. Odd, I know, but a good read :) Peace.

Editing Week on the RB

The ficties are once again holding their Editing "Week" in the Officer's Lounge. The last such occasion was about 6 months ago in late November and turned out to be a big success. The thread by The General kicking off Editing Week is [here].
During Editing Week, people are encouraged to post any writings they have, be they Homeworld/Cataclysm related or not, prose or otherwise, in the Officer's Lounge (Fiction) forum. People are also encouraged to read, review, and comment (constructively, of course) on other's works.
Anyone who feels they have a skill at writing and wants to share with the rest of us is welcome in the Officer's Lounge. Those who are interested may also simply want to drop by to read your fellow Relic Boarder's works for sheer enjoyment.
The Editing Week started Tuesday, and is supposed to last 7 days. This may be extended to two weeks, although that decision hasn't been finalized yet. A special thanks to the organizers of Editing Week last time and this time, and to those who participated last time by reading, writing, and critiquing.
The ficties hope to see people there!

The White Beast! (Really!)

Thanks to the Collector's amazing posting skillz (and my motivational... techniques ;)) The White Beast by crobato has finally been put up in the Cataclysm section for your viewing! You're in a for long read... with 25 chapters - plus appendix - and over 200 pages, this may be the longest Homeworld story ever. Peace.
