This is still one of my favorite maps, despite it also being one of the very first 3rd party maps available (I downloaded it from the old map site-before Llamaworld's Map site even existed).
Enough reminising, now on to the map. There are numerous resource pockets scattered about of asteroids and dustclouds, and there is a ring placed vertically around the center of the map. The starting points of the (2-4) players are placed a bit away from the very outer edges of the ring, which starts very thin and gradually works up to a heavily populated asteroid spot in the center of the band. There is a little 'surprise' in the very center of the map, and you may find yourself scrounging up a few salvage corvettes to "take care of" this little 'suprise'. Many strategies are possible in the map, and it is also a decent map to test new strategies against the computer, or even over WON. A number of my early attampts at a good strategy came from this map.
Overall, a great map for a free-for-all against random people over WON, or even a decent challenge against the computer. A great download...but, then again, Homeworld maps are so small why not just download some to say you have a ton of maps?
