I guess somebody had to do it. In this map, players start out with a Carrier and a Bentusi tradeship as well as a Mothership and some other regular ships. The rest of the level takes a back seat to the Bentusi tradeship. It has three powerful ion cannons that never shut off, can hit about 52 percent of a sphere around it, and is faster than a fighter. A charge to the opponent's base as soon as the level starts could kill all three capitols in a span of thirty seconds. Did I mention the Bentusi has armor more than twice that of the mothership?
As fun to play as this sounds, it gets real old really fast. Other map reviews talk about resourses, and all I can say is there are enough that sometimes they collide with the Bentusi and make them fly screwy. In a regular game, this map would have a fair amount of resourses. No 3-D thought went into the level. Style and artistic merit? This guy should be put in the funny farm if he thought the equivalent of the cold war would be a fun map, and I never noticed the background.
This map is worth a good laugh, or you could set up ladder games against other people who are slow and boost your case ranking obscenely, or you could follow my advice and never download this map.
