This may be the best 2v2 map ever made, period. It leads to heated early skirmishes, but has just enough resources to turn into a Capship Slugfest in the hands of experts. I loved this map design, as the name says, it is a quintet of Verticle Spires at least 100 km long. The Spires themselves are made of unharvestable dust, but within them there are pockets of gas and asteroids, in which most of the fighting takes place. The map makes excellent use of 3D, by placing multiple pockets at diffrent heights within the Spires. This map is almost perfect... I have had some great matches on it, and they are always intense. I highly recommend it, especially for 2vs2 ladder play.
