This is one of the best looking maps I have seen, but it is very large and detailed, so expect it to run slowly on all but the fastest CPU's. Asteroids and crystal are both abundant, insuring that there will never be a lack of RU's even in games with six or more players. The large slipgates are well positioned to allow quick movement from top to bottom, where the heaviest concentrations of crystals are. This insures constant battling around those resource pockets. Another set of medium slipgates connect the smaller resource pockets on the sides of the map.
The symmetry of the map combined with its immense size will tend to confuse beginning players, but experienced players will have no problem. It is certainly a very fun map with groups of six or more players, smaller games will end up being drawn out into heavy capital ship battles. All in all this is a well thought out and balanced map, the only thing keeping this out of my regular rotation is my lame 500mhz CPU.
